National planning ranges. Only a written estimate after measuring your openings is a real price.
Every price on this page comes from HomeGuide’s window replacement cost guide (checked Nov 3, 2026). Rows marked ESTIMATE are our arithmetic on those figures. No local Broken Arrow price list was available, so these are national ranges. Nothing here is a quote.
Step 1: Count Your Windows
Walk the house and count every window by room, noting any that are unusually large, any bays or bows, and any sliding patio doors. Most quotes are per opening. A typical single-story house often has somewhere between 10 and 20.
Step 2: Whole-House Ranges
| Number of single-hung windows | Installed (HomeGuide) |
|---|---|
| 1 | $450–$1,500 |
| 10 | $4,500–$15,000 |
| 15 | $6,750–$22,500 |
ESTIMATE 12 single-hung windows at $450–$1,500 each comes to about $5,400–$18,000. Our multiplication only.
Step 3: Price by Window Type

| Type | Installed, per window (HomeGuide) |
|---|---|
| Vinyl (includes labor) | $350–$1,500 |
| Double-hung | $350–$2,500 |
| Bay | $2,000–$6,000 |
| Bow | $3,000–$8,000+ |
Step 4: Upgrades
- Low-E glass coating. HomeGuide says it adds 10% to 20% to the window price. In Oklahoma heat it’s usually worth asking about. See energy-efficient windows.
- Full-frame vs. insert. Full-frame tear-outs cost more but let rot be fixed.
- Exterior trim wrap and interior casing. Often priced separately.
- Grids, colors and hardware. Colored exterior frames and grilles add cost.
- Lead-safe work. Required in pre-1978 homes and may add setup and cleanup time.

| Ask | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Which brand and product line, and what glass package? | Two “vinyl windows” can be very different products. |
| Insert or full-frame installation? | Affects price, look and whether rot gets fixed. |
| Are trim, caulk, haul-away and screens included? | Low quotes sometimes leave these out. |
| Are you an EPA lead-safe certified firm? | Required for pre-1978 homes. |
| Is a permit needed, and who gets it? | Size changes and egress windows may need one. |
| What does the warranty cover: glass, frame, labor? | Manufacturer and installer warranties are separate. |
| Is the price good only today? | Same-day pressure is a red flag. The FTC Cooling-Off Rule may let you cancel many in-home sales within three business days. |
| Proof of insurance? | Oklahoma has no statewide general contractor license, so insurance and references matter. |
